Savanha Naledi Range
Galileo Galilei once famously articulated what Savanha wines capture in essence; that “Wine is sunlight held together by water”.
With one of the world’s highest average daily hours of sunshine, sunny South Africa is a country known for its vibrant energy, passion and warmth. To capture these qualities, the Savanha Sun range was developed and released to the international market. The wines, known for their rich colours and flavours true to the grape varietals, embody the growth and fullness of life made possible by abundant sunshine.
Since our humble single range beginnings we have expanded Savanha and now boast four primary ranges: Savanha Sun: juicy, fruity, easy going wine for every day consumption; Savanha Winemaker’s Selection: a taste of South African sunshine in every bottle, Savanha Special Reserve: a collection of wines that rely on the interplay between sun, soil and winemaker; and the award-winning premium range Savanha Naledi: made from sun-kissed grapes selected from a handful of vineyards with specific terroirs, perfect for the connoisseur.
To addition to this abundant range, 2011 welcomed the launch of the farms first Fairtrade accredited wines, named Frieda’s Vine. This is an achievement we are especially proud of as it reflects our ethos of custodianship and our commitment to the upliftment of our local communities.
