Be wined and dined by Spier Cellar Master Johan Jordaan at an intimate dinner at the Hotel Restaurant. A four-course seasonal menu will be expertly paired with award-winning wines for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Our chefs select farm-fresh ingredients inspired by the seasons and harvested from our Food Garden, and source only the highest-quality meat ethically reared by Farmer Angus. You will savour every taste, with our team selecting each wine to perfectly match the dish in front of you.

While single varietals are always enjoyable, blends make merriment by combining the perfect ratios of different varietals in a single bottle to create a wine that is superior to its individual components. The evening will feature Spier’s best organic blends, and wines from our most-awarded range, Creative Block.

Join Organic Winemaker Tania Kleintjes for a night of organic wines and farm-fresh food. Simultaneously simple yet intricate to create, our officially certified organic wines are produced in limited quantities and celebrated for their exceptional quality.

With more than 300 years of winemaking heritage and our historic architecture on the farm, this Heritage Month is all about celebrating culture and tradition with great food and wine from our 21 Gables range – named after our architecturally significant gables.

Organic wines and the freshest spring ingredients harvested by hand from Spier Food Garden set the theme for the month of October. Meet Spier’s Organic Winemaker Tania Kleintjes and Head Food Gardener Megan McCarthy.

Revel in the company of Frans K Smit, the name behind Spier’s
flagship wine range. Crafted with all the attention and nuance you’d expect
from such a winelover, the Frans K. Smit range of two
complex blends – one red, one white – are produced in limited quantities and
coveted around the world.
R550 - R750 per person includes Cap Classique on arrival, a chef’s choice four-course meal paired with Spier wines, and a gift per couple to take home. Space is limited, so secure your seat as soon as possible. Strictly no under-18s.
