Through various connections, the Thomas’s Clapham School was put in touch with World Bicycle Relief, a non-profit whose aim is to provide access to independence and livelihood through the power of bicycles. African Director of World Bicycle Relief, Dave Neiswander, praised the girls for their efforts and generosity.
Wildlands Conservation Trust Tree-preneur Project has been introduced into communities in the Cape with the help of Spier and PSG Konsult Corporate. The aim of the programme is to support rural and township communities through indigenous tree growing projects that is rewarded by bartering in the form of bicycles, school fees, food vouchers or other supplies needed.
