Eight to Go closes for renovations
JUNE 26, 2013 | Eight to Go Deli at Spier will be closing for three weeks from the 27 June to undergo some changes. It will reopen its doors on Friday the 26th July with a refreshed look and some exciting new goodies. Expect freshly home-baked cookies and pastries, homemade jams, fruit preserves and chutneys straight from our kitchen.

The first Limousin Bull calf born this year and he is exactly a month old on the photo. Not brave enough to venture too far from Mamma’s legs…yet.

MAY 20, 2013 | This year’s prestigious international wine competition, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, saw a myriad oenologists, sommeliers, wine tasters and wine lovers congregate in Bratislava, Slovakia to select and celebrate the top achievers.The competition, considered by many the world championship of wine making, awarded Spier four silver medals this year. They were given to the 21 Gables Chenin Blanc 2011, the 21 Gables Pinotage 2010, the Creative Block 2 2012 and the Naledi Pinotage 2010.
