The first planting was in November last year, and already the space is bursting with herbs, fruit trees and vegetables. DECEMBER 08, 2014 | After stints in Cape Town and Johannesburg, the Spier Secret Courtyard is coming to the heart of Spier wine farm from 15 December. The much-loved pop-up wine bar will be setting up shop in the Jonkershuis, which dates back to 1778, with tables and chairs spilling out onto the historic Werf (farmyard). The Werf, formerly the home of moyo restaurant, is now undergoing a meticulous restoration.
