Knead out the knots and melt away tension, leaving you revived and refreshed. The Spier Spa offers skin, body and massage treatments. Select treatments can be enjoyed on the deck overlooking the Eerste River, providing a calming soundtrack to your spa experience.
Hop On For A Segway Adventure
Experience the splendour of the Cape Winelands on board a Segway. Glide through the vineyards, breathe in the fresh air and savour the views of the Stellenbosch mountains. It’s an exhilarating, two-wheeled, battery-powered ride so you won’t work up a sweat.
Self-Guided Walks
Explore Spier’s fascinating history, immerse yourself in nature, encounter extraordinary art pieces and learn about our sustainability ethos on one of our self-guided walks.
Eagle Encounters
Get up close and personal with eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, kites and buzzards. Closer to the ground, you can learn about snakes and lizards. Eagle Encounters has been rehabilitating and releasing birds of prey, and promoting conservation and education on land donated by Spier for two decades. These birds are natural pest controllers so no need for pesticides on the farm.
Celebrate The Arts
Gaze upon the work of established and emerging artists featured in the Spier Art Collection, one of the largest contemporary collections in the country, and showcased across the farm. You can plot your own route or join a walking tour to be sure you don’t miss a thing!
Craft Market Fun
Stroll through our vibrant craft market to find the perfect memento or special gift. Support local artisans – and watch them at work – by choosing from a colourful assortment of artworks and handmade products. Want to make something yourself? Learn the basics from an artisan of your choice.
Elemental Play Garden
The Spier Elemental Play Garden is just a stone’s throw from Spier Farm Café and Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery. Features of the garden include a slide landscaped into earth mounds, a tunnel to crawl through, a Charl Conradie wind sculpture and a swing bridge. The water in the Water quadrant has been treated and is safe to splash about in – perfect for hot summer days.

Mountain Bike Trail
Hop onto the saddle and pedal your way through our picturesque mountain bike trail. The signposted 10km & 20km routes, created and maintained by the Wine Lands Cycling Club, combines single tracks and farm roads in a beautifully meandering journey.

Taste And Buy Wine
Enjoy our award-winning wine at the Spier Tasting Room. Opt for a tasting experience or order your favourite wine with an olive, cheese or cured meat board. Stock up and buy our wine at cellar door prices.
The Manor House At Spier
Right at the very heart of Spier Wine Farm is the Manor House: a grand dame with a gable dating back to 1822. She has been beautifully restored to host small, intimate food and wine experiences.
Spier Picnics
Our delicious, farm-inspired picnics change with the seasons. We source as many ingredients as possible from our own farm and trusted local producers. Baskets must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance and can be collected between 12.00 and 14.00 from the Picnic Collection Point next to the Spier Farm Café.
Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery
Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery creates a place where families and friends can join together and eat food that is carefully, ethically and healthily sourced and prepared. Although meat is what you would expect from a smokehouse – think smoked beef brisket, juicy smoked pork with a bourbon BBQ sauce or smoked pork belly with apple ketchup – there is a considered focus on ample, delicious vegetarian dishes.
Hotel Restaurant
Join us for a contemporary country breakfast, lunch or dinner, or take a seat at our wine bar for your favourite drinks and some tasty snacks. Our chefs take pride in creating the most delicious dishes, from burgers and game to a variety of traditional farm specialities.
Bubbles & Braai Bar
Our very popular pop-up opens on weekends and public holidays and serves delicious Farmer Angus meats off the grill alongside our award-winning wines
Wine Blending Experience
Try out an utterly unique group experience! Visit the Riverhouse – where budding winemakers and lovers of art embark on a collective journey into creativity. You are invited to create an original tasting blend, and even test your design skills by making your own wine label. The best blend will be rewarded, with the winners taking home bragging rights.
