A New Wave Of Seaward
Introducing our new labels for Spier Seaward
We’re very excited to announce the upgrade of our Seaward wine packaging. This popular range was first launched in 2018 and has since grown to be a much-loved favourite for wine lovers worldwide.
Spier Seaward wines tell the story of the unique Cape coastal terroir from which the grapes for this wine are harvested. Nestled at the southern tip of Africa, the Cape coastal wine-making region is a narrow band of vineyards influenced by the Indian and Atlantic oceans that meet at its shore.
The refreshed Seaward labels, designed by packaging experts Gentry Creative, embody the essence of the coast. A bold blue splash of colour evokes the waves that define our coastal terroir, while the delicate and intricate wave detail that Seaward drinkers have come to know and love shimmers like sunlight on the ocean’s surface.
The redesign is more than a visual upgrade; it allowed us to lighten our carbon footprint. As part of our drive to continue Growing for Good and create positive social and environmental change, we transitioned into a lighter-weight bottle for the Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2022 vintage. This small yet significant change will save approximately 20.65 tonnes in carbon emissions, annually.
The ‘new Seaward’ will make its way to retail shelves in the coming months with upcoming vintages.
Onwards and Seaward!
