Creative Block takes its name from the Creative Block Arts Project, proudly supporting South African artists. Since 2004, over 17,500 of these artworks have been created and sold as a form of income for artists. Spier is home to many of them, and together with the spier Arts Trust, has established one of South Africa's largest contemporary art collections.
Like these artists who transform blank canvases, our winemakers craft something extraordinary by blending different grape varietals. This artistry has earned the range numerous accolades, with Creative Block 5 - our signature Bordeaux-style blend - receiving an unprecedented 143 awards alone.
