Our farm-to-table feast offers Dad a bounty of dishes made with ingredients sourced from Spier farm, as well as trusted nearby farmers. To start with: Farmer Angus charcuterie, vegetable crudités and more. From the coals, there’ll be butternut, grilled veg and smoked mussel and bacon potjie. The main event is a whole suckling pig, reared at Spier by Farmer Angus, a spatchcock chicken and organic Karoo lamb — all from the braai. Dad’s going to love the old school desserts — sticky toffee pudding and lemon meringue. Come hungry!
