An Evening Of Fine Dining At The Forum | The Campus
On 29 June, 72 Gauteng-based members of our Wine Club gathered together at The Forum | The Campus in Bryanston for an exclusive dinner pairing with winemaker Tania Kleintjies.
Creative Block 2 2015 was paired with the starter — gravlax of salmon with a farandole of seasonal fruits and lemon caper drizzle.
Diners could chose between Creative Block 3 or 21 Gables Cabernet Sauvignon to match with their mains — pan-seared rack of lamb with rich red wine reduction, garlic roasted turnip fondant and cinnamon spiced fat boy butternut.
Dancing in Other Words Noble Late Harvest 2013 accompanied the dessert — baked apple tarte tatin with green chilli vanilla ice cream and pecan nut crumble.
83 bottles of wine were enjoyed: an impressive feat considering there were 72 attendees!
