About the 21 Gables Pinotage 2013
Made with grapes from Stellenbosch, this full-bodied wine matured for 18 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. Flavours of caramelised black cherries, violets and liquorice is accompanied by hints of all spice and dark chocolate on the nose. The same fruity complexity can be found on the palate, which has a smooth entry followed by velvety tannins. It has great ageing potential.
