Spier Wins At Mundus Vini Summer Tasting
Spier 21 Gables Chenin Blanc 2019 has received yet another prestigious award: the Best in Show South African White at the 29th Mundus Vini Summer Tasting.
Judged amongst more than 4500 wines from all over the world, Spier won a total of 6 Gold medals and 4 Silver medals. This year, the international judging panel awarded a total of 36 Grand Gold medals, 971 Gold medals and 811 Silver medals.
“We are thrilled that our flagship Chenin has received such a prestigious award,” says Spier’s cellar master Johan Jordaan. “Winning Best in Show from South Africa – along with the wine’s other accolades – is testament to the fact that our decade-long focus on crafting quality Chenin is bearing fruit.”
